It is with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.

We send our deepest condolences to former President Jimmy Carter, the wider Carter family, as well as our friends at The Carter Centre at this time.

Rosalynn Carter was an outstanding champion for health and women’s rights. She worked tirelessly to improve the welfare of people everywhere and to eradicate disease, including Guinea worm disease. Known for her compassion, kindness, and commitment to making a difference in the world, Rosalynn Carter will be missed tremendously by the NTD community.
