In January 2012, donors and endemic country governments, private sector leaders, and multilateral organizations made a unique commitment and partnered to launch the London Declaration on Neglected Tropical Diseases. On that day, they committed to work together to control or eliminate 10 NTDs by 2020, in alignment with World Health Organization targets.

This November the NTD community will convene for the Uniting to Combat NTDs: Turning the London Declaration into Action meeting to build on that pledge. Together we will map out the concrete actions needed to make the 2020 goals a reality and explore opportunities for synergy and greater efficiency.
